GOP Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to Join Elon Musk and Investor David Sacks on X.com

Heading into Iowa for a big weekend after rising in the polls, Ohio businessman and GOP presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy will join Elon Musk and investor David Sacks live Friday afternoon on x.com.

The conversation on the social network platform formerly known as Twitter is set for 4:30 p.m. Central Time, hours before Ramaswamy joins much of the rest of the packed field of Republican presidential candidates at the Republican Party of Iowa’s Lincoln Dinner fundraiser in Des Moines.

“I’ll be cohosting an X Space with Republican presidential candidate @VivekGRamaswamy and @elonmusk tomorrow at 1:30pm PT / 4:30pm ET,” Sacks tweeted — or x’ed, as it were — Thursday.

Sacks, a billionaire entrepreneur, author, and investor in internet technology firms, is general partner of Craft Ventures, a venture capital fund he co-founded in late 2017. He served as chief operating officer of PayPal and was founder and CEO of Yammer.

Sacks is also a big supporter of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, running a distant second behind former President Donald Trump in Republican presidential primary polls. Sacks hosted DeSantis’ campaign glitch-filled campaign kickoff event on Twitter.

The Big Tech investor last year donated more than $300,000 to the Purple Good Government PAC, which then turned $100,000 of that contribution over to the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC, according to the Federal Election Commission.

In March, Ramaswamy debated Sacks on Megyn Kelly’s podcast—the topic: the Silicon Valley Bank meltdown and bankruptcy.

Ramaswamy is currently running 3rd in RealClearPolitics’ average of national Republican Primary polls, grabbing 10 percent support to DeSantis’ 12 percent in the recent Harvard Harris poll.

As The Iowa Star reported this week, Ramaswamy’s rising fortunes have attracted the attention — and the attacks — of his rivals.

“We’re surging in the polls, the knives are coming out,” the 37-year-old anti-woke crusader said. “The opposition research machines are churning.”
