Kari Lake Stumps for Trump in Bettendorf, Iowa

Arizona GOP gubernatorial nominee Kari Lake returned home to Scott County, Iowa on Friday and told a huge crowd at an event in Bettendorf that she would do everything in her power to see former President Donald Trump elected once again to the nation’s highest office in 2024.

Lake also told the enthusiastic crowd that she will continue her legal challenge to the November 2022 gubernatorial election in Arizona in which Democrat Katie Hobbs was certified the victor by a narrow margin of 17,000 votes. Lake lost her electoral contest to those results in December in a Maricopa County Superior Court, and her appeal is now under consideration by an Arizona State Court of Appeals.

Lake told the crowd she has not conceded because she did not lose the election, and promised to continue her legal challenge of the results up to the Arizona Supreme Court. She asked the crowd to pray for the judges considering her appeal.

Citizen Free Press posted this video of Lake’s promise to the Bettendorf crowd that ” I will do everything in my power to get President Trump elected.”

The University of Iowa graduate also focused on the importance of election integrity. ““If we cannot contest elections that are dirty, rotten, horrible, stolen elections then we’re in trouble,” she stated.

“And I believe that we’ll find some judges that have the courage to do the right thing,” she added, a clear reference to her own legal challenge to the certified 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election results that led to the inaugurate of Katie Hobbs as governor of that state last month.

Lake is scheduled to make two additional stops in Iowa on Saturday. The first will be broadcast as a Special Event on Real America’s Voice from 1 pm to 2:30 pm ET. The second event will be held at 5:00 pm CT in Ankeny, Iowa. The Star News Network and The Iowa Star will have an exclusive interview with Kari Lake at the Ankeny event.
