Biden Supporter Taylor Swift Encourages Americans to Vote on Super Tuesday

A popstar and noted supporter of President Joe Biden encouraged Americans to get out and vote on Super Tuesday, the day with the most presidential primary elections in the country.

“Today, March 5, is the Presidential Primary in Tennessee and 16 other states and territories. I wanted to remind you guys to vote the people who most represent YOU into power,” Taylor Swift told her 282 million followers in an Instagram story. “If you haven’t already, make a plan to vote today. Whether you’re in Tennessee or somewhere else in the US, check your polling places and times at vote.org.”

Swift is a resident of Tennessee.

Primary voters in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Virginia headed to the polls on Tuesday.

For most of her career, Swift had remained apolitical.

But she first got involved politics in 2018 when she endorsed two Democrat contenders taking on Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN). Blackburn won the race easily.

In October of 2020, the singer endorsed Biden for president.

More recently, Swift has voiced support for Gaza in its ongoing war against Israel.

Specifically, attended a show by comedian Ramy Youssef, the proceeds of which were given to a pro-Palestinian nonprofit called American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA).

That group has questionable ties to terrorism.

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly blasted Swift for the move.

“Taylor Swift, who has been out there tweeting about her support for the LGBTQ community, you know what they do to that community in Gaza, Taylor, that you now want to support?” said Kelly. “Who’s talked about her support for women, her opposition to certain Republican lawmakers who don’t support women in the way Taylor sees fit. You know what they do to women? You know what Hamas likes to do to women? You think we have equal rights over there, Taylor? You clearly know nothing.”

Swift is also dating NFL player Travis Kelce, who has been sympathetic to far-left causes.

Kelce kneeled during the National Anthem during the height of the league’s Black Lives Matter protests in 2017.
