‘Tucker on X’ Episode 33: Col. Douglas Macgregor Says, ‘Something as Bad or Potentially Even Worse Than 9/11 Could Happen Here’

In episode 33 of his newest production, “Tucker on X,” host Tucker Carlson interviewed U.S. Army Colonel Retired Combat Veteran Douglas Macgregor on whether the U.S. can engage in war with Iran.

Kicking off the 27-minute interview, Carlson asked the decorated combat veteran if he believed the U.S. is moving toward a war with Iran, to which Macgregor said, “Yes, I do. And it looks like the chosen destination is indeed Armageddon.”

“The missile and space program in Iran is very, very advanced, as is their cyber warfare capability. All of these things would be brought to bear against us,” Macgregor warned.

“But what’s most important, I think, for Americans to understand is if we attack Iran on the basis of Hezbollah’s alleged willingness to attack Israel if Israel invades Gaza, we will end up in a fight with Russia,” Macgregor added. “Russia will not sit by quietly and watch Iran destroyed by the United States air and naval power in the region. And once Russia enters this, it becomes much more than just a local conflict, maybe more than just a regional war.”

“We haven’t thought this through and we need to do that,” the combat veteran added.

Later in the interview, Carlson pivoted and asked Macgregor about concerns about terrorism in the U.S. in the wake of the terrorist attack on October 7 in Israel and ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

“I think these concerns are very, very valid,” Macgregor replied.

“We’ve had an open border now for the last two and a half years but we’ve had an illegal migration problem for the last three plus decades. We don’t know who is in the country. We really don’t,” Macgregor continued. “No one in Homeland Security can tell you who is here. So we don’t know who is here, but we do know that Hamas as well as Hezbollah have positions in Mexico. Of the two, Hezbollah is much stronger, much larger, and much better equipped and financed.”

“So we have to expect that once Hezbollah is in the war and we are against them and Iran, that much of our infrastructure will be at risk. Something as bad or potentially even worse than 9/11 could happen here,” Macgregor added.

As of press time, the latest installment of Carlson’s video podcast, posted at 4:59 p.m. Central Standard Time on Monday, had over 5 million views. The 33 episodes posted by @TuckerCarlson have been seen over well over 2 billion times on Twitter / X.

this guy is a genius if he realizes that something worse than 9/11 could happen here. not. what a stupid thing to say, obviously it could happen. how realistic is it?
    why would something worse happen?

ooh because of neo-cons and neo-libs and the entire american political establishment backing up an apartheid state in the middle east, and keeping 2 million palestinians in a cage? the US toppling government after government, democratic or not. maybe that has something to do with it

but i have a feeling tucker isnt advocating for us to stop interfering with other countries, he just wants to criticize biden when he does it. ignoring all the damage the gop has done to the US geopolitically
