The Star News Network Interviews Author Peter Schweizer About Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s Ties to China

TRANSCRIPT:

McCabe: Investigative journalist Peter Schweizer, in his new book Red-Handed, reveals how California Democratic senator Dianne Feinstein and her husband Richard Blum are politically and financially committed to the success of the communist party in China.

Schweizer told The Star News Network that Feinstein literally danced with one of the men responsible for the crackdown at Tiananmen Square.

Schweizer: Dianne Feinstein’s ties to Chinese communist party officials goes way back to when she was the mayor of San Francisco in the late 1970s.

As mayor, she established a sister city relationship with the city of Shanghai, which was being run at the time by Deng Xiaoping, who would later become the premier of China. And after one of their first meetings, they actually danced together.

McCabe: Schweizer said another twist in Feinstein’s connections to China is Russell Lowe, who for 20 years was a staffer and driver for the senator.

Schweizer: Allegedly, and I guess, was in some sense the driver for Dianne Feinstein’s office, but he was also identified by the FBI as someone who was collecting intelligence and spying on Dianne Feinstein.

McCabe: One Chinese company Blum invested in is Legend computer, now called Lenovo. After Blum invested in the company, Legend received a contract to supply laptop computers to the United States military.

Schweizer: It’s discovered that these computers have bugs on them. The United States Marine Corps finds this out. So while Dianne Feinstein is the chairwoman of the U.S. Senate intelligence committee, her husband co-owns a business with Chinese officials that is caught putting bugs on computers that are being sent to the U.S. military.

McCabe: In Peter Schweizer’s book Red-Handed, we learned that for many years Senator Dianne Feinstein was driven by an asset from Chinese intelligence.

And we also learned that much of her political agenda is driven by her financial connections to the Chinese Communist Party. Reporting for The Star News Network, this is Neil W. McCabe.
