Judicial Watch Sues Biden Administration over Cover-Up of Illegal Aliens’ COVID Information

by Eric Lendrum

Last week, the watchdog group Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit against the Biden Administration over the administration’s refusal to disclose information regarding how it is handling the coronavirus among illegal aliens who are flooding the southern border, Breitbart reports.

The lawsuit was filed against Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which failed to respond in a timely manner to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted by Judicial Watch. The FOIA filing requested data on the transmission rates, testing practices, and treatment methods being utilized for illegals who tested positive for the Chinese virus. The FOIA request was first filed on April 15th, and although HHS confirmed the following day that they had received the request, they have yet to act upon it.

In a statement announcing the lawsuit, Judicial Watch’s president Tom Fitton declared that “the Biden Administration secrecy on the border includes stonewalling on the issue of COVID-19, and illegal immigration and controversial refugee resettlement programs.”

As part of Biden’s promise to implement open-border immigration policies that allow illegal aliens to easily come over the border and enter the country, various federal agencies have actually been assisting illegals and providing them aid and comfort during their treks across the border. In accordance with responding to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many illegals have been placed in hotel rooms to remain in quarantine upon entering the country. However, many illegals have subsequently fled those hotels to continue traveling the country; furthermore, virtually none of the illegals who have been assisted into the country have been given any of the coronavirus vaccines.

Judicial Watch’s lawsuit demands the revelation of “any and all guidance provided to the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement…regarding, concerning, or related to the transmission, testing, mitigation, and/or treatment of COVID-19 for [illegal] immigrants who are in or are released from Department of Homeland Security and/or Customs and Border Patrol custody.”
