Former President Trump Releases Statement on Primary Poll, Biden, and Future Social Media Platform

Former President Donald Trump released a statement Monday that underscored his popularity, President Biden’s bad ratings, and his future social media platform.

The statement comes in response to President Biden’s concerning policy decisions and multiple inaccurate media reports on Trump’s actions.

Trump’s statement began by highlighting his staggering popularity among Republican voters. He said, “Highly respected pollster John McLaughlin says 73% of all Republicans want Trump to run again in 2024 and Republican primary voters would support him 82%-13%.”

Due to his high approval numbers among Republican voters, the President’s speculation at a run in 2024 has frozen the field of other potential nominees. Additionally, Trump’s endorsement remains a coveted selection for Republicans seeking office on a variety of levels.

The statement then focused on the concerning job performance of President Joe Biden. “What WaPo [Washington Post] and other members of the Fake News Media don’t report is that Joe Biden is of no interest to anybody—21 million less people watched his Joint Address to Congress than watched mine,” Trump added.

Trump attributed Biden’s low ratings to his current performance as President. The Biden administration has struggled to maintain control of the growing border crisis. Further, concerns over inflation due to his large spending bills continue to grow.

To end his statement, President Trump promised a new social media platform for his supporters — while noting that his current website has been mischaracterized.

In referring to From the Desk of Donald J. Trump, he wrote, “This is meant to be a temporary way of getting my thoughts and ideas out to the public without the Fake News spin, but the website is not a ‘platform.’ It is merely a way of communicating until I decide on what the future will be for the choice or establishment of a platform. It will happen soon.”
