Blake Masters Receives Endorsement from Arizona’s Four Republican Representatives

Arizona Republican Senate nominee Blake Masters has received endorsements from the state’s four Republican representatives, and he said he looks forward to joining them in Washington.

“It’s an honor to be endorsed by bold, conservative leaders like Representatives Biggs, Lesko, Schweikert, and Gosar. All are highly respected and effective legislators, which is why Arizona voters continue to re-elect them to fight for their interests in Washington. I look forward to being their partner in the Senate,” Masters said.

The Arizona Sun Times reached out to the Masters campaign for more information on his relationship with the representatives but did not receive a response before publication time.

Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ-05), who has served in Congress since 2016, said Masters has his full support.

“Blake Masters has what it takes to unseat Mark Kelly, and he has my full support. In Washington, Kelly votes with Biden-Schumer-Pelosi agenda, destroying our border, our economy, and our communities,” Biggs said. “Blake is a terrific candidate, and this November he’s going to send Kelly packing.”

Serving since 2018, Debbie Lesko (R-AZ-08) also shared support for Masters’ race, calling him the leader Arizona deserves.

“Blake Masters is the kind of leader Arizona deserves in the U.S. Senate,” Lesko said. “I fully endorse Blake Masters and look forward to working with him in Congress to stop the madness.”

Lesko also mentioned incumbent Kelly’s policies have “wreaked havoc” on American communities, making Masters the choice for Arizonans who want a safe future.

David Schweikert (R-AZ-06), currently in his sixth term serving in the House, said he thinks Masters is the candidate to reverse the damage done by the Biden administration.

“Joe Biden and his reckless policies have done grave damage to Arizona’s families and our economy. Instead of fighting to stop these policies, Mark Kelly has been nothing but a rubber stamp for them,” Schweikert said. “That’s why I’m endorsing Blake Masters for U.S. Senate.”

Schweikert further stated that, unlike the currently seated senator, Masters has plans to fight for economic growth and “real and lasting border security,” a position he fully supports.

The fourth and final endorsee, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ-04), said he will do whatever he can to get Masters to the Senate.

“I unequivocally endorse Blake Masters – I will do everything I can to help him defeat socialist Senator Mark Kelly. We need a true leader like Blake in the Senate if we want to save our country. He has my total and complete support,” Gosar said.

Additionally, the Arizona Republican Party (AZGOP) called upon Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY-04) for aid in this campaign. While recent polls have shown Masters within striking distance from Kelly, as of July, the Federal Election Commission shared that Kelly has outspent Masters 10-to-1 in this race. The AZGOP shared that while it is doing everything it can to give Masters his best chance at victory, early ballots will be sent out on October 12, leaving less than a month until some Arizonans can begin to vote. They say that public and financial support from McConnell can help give Masters the push needed to return the seat to a Republican.
