Arizona Lawmakers, Candidates React to FBI Raid on Mar-a-Lago

Lawmakers and high profile candidates for office in Arizona are reacting to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) raid on former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach, Florida.

“Congress must look into the viability of our federal law enforcement agencies that abuse their authorities for political purposes. Rogue individuals within the FBI and DOJ are violating their oath of office by not upholding the law and they need to be held more accountable,” said Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ-05).

“And right on cue, these folks raided the residence of the 45th President of the United States. Our law enforcement apparatus should serve the American people—not special interests,” he said.

“President Trump said his Mar-a-Lago home was raided by the FBI, the same FBI that has ignored evidence on Hunter Biden’s laptop and has not gone after Hillary Clinton for deleting over 30,000 emails,” said Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ-08).

“This seems to be yet another example of the Department of Justice’s hypocrisy and political bias. If Republicans take back the majority, we will investigate any Department of Justice abuses,” she added.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ-04) did not mince words in his reaction.

“The FBI raid on Trump’s home tells us one thing. Failure is not an option. We must destroy the FBI. We must save America. I stand with Donald J. Trump,” he said.

Blake Masters is running for U.S. Senate against Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ). He won the Republican primary for the office handily last week.

“Everyone knows this was politically motivated. And that should terrify us all,” he said. “When street crimes go unsolved but opposition leaders are hounded by federal police, you’re living in a third world country.”

But perhaps the strongest statement came from Kari Lake, the GOP’s nominee for governor who, after an arduous week of vote-counting, came out on top to represent the Republican Party in a race against Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs.

“This is one of the darkest days in American history: the day our government, originally created by the people, turned against us,” said Lake. “This illegitimate, corrupt Regime hates America and has weaponized the entirety of the Federal Government to take down President Donald Trump.”

“Our government is rotten to the core,” Lake said. “These tyrants will stop at nothing to silence the Patriots who are working hard to save America. This is an incredibly horrendous use of power. If we accept it, America is dead.”

But, Lake said, Americans will not accept it.

“The 10th Amendment can save our Republic and the road to stripping the feds of power travels right through Arizona,” she said. “We must fire the federal government. As Governor, I will fight these Tyrants with every fiber of my being. America – dark days lie ahead for us. May God protect us and save our country.

The 10th Amendment says explicitly that “powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

I agree all that has been said by the people of my state, Az. This will backfire on them just as the Russian debacle, and all the other crap they have tried to push down our throats. We aren’t stupid and we know what you are. EVIL
