Kari Lake Blasts Opponents for Declining to Debate

In a video posted to Twitter, an Arizona gubernatorial candidate blasted her opponents, who she says will not debate her.

“We’re living in critical times in American history, and really in human history,” Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake said. “Voters deserve to hear from candidates outside of just paid political ads.”

“The Arizona Republican Party is hosting a debate between the Republican candidates for governor,” Lake said. “Unfortunately, I’m the only candidate who has agreed to the debate. Matt Salmon refused, and Karrin Robsen didn’t even have the decency to respond to the AZGOP.”

Lake then took aim directly at her opponents.

I want to speak directly to Karrin and Matt. What are you so terrified of? You’ve both been in politics your entire lives – I’m brand-new to it. How about this? I will make the debate even easier on you. If you will agree to debate me and share your vision with Arizona Republicans, I will agree to allow you to have all of the questions in advance, and take notes up on stage with you. I’m not sure what else you want me to do. I guess I could tie one hand behind my back. So Matt and Karrin, I want to leave you with this. I want you to think of all of the people who have supported each of your campaigns, whether it’s with their time or their money. What a slap in the face to this is to your supporters – that they are willing to fight for you, and you refuse to fight for them. I hope you will both reconsider.

Lake then told voters who might be watching to encourage her opponents to debate her.

“If they can’t go up against a fellow Republican, there is no way in hell they will stand up against the activists in the media, the radicals in the legislature, or the terrorists in the cartels,” she said. “The era of weak Republicans is over.”

Lake, a former television news reporter, has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

Notably, she has fought for election integrity on the campaign trail.

After Maricopa County audited its 2020 election results, Lake told The Star News Network that numerous issues amounted to malfeasance in the election process.

“There were so many [takeaways]. It’s like death by a thousand paper cuts. I call it ‘death by a thousand knife wounds’ because these are so much bigger than paper cuts,” she said. “We had 34,000 votes that were counted two, three or four times, 740,000 ballots with no chain of custody. They shouldn’t have even been counted, and it goes on and on. The wrong paper stock was used.”

“We’ve got issues with our voting machines, and that’s why I’m involved in an injunction. I filed it a couple of weeks ago. I filed an injunction in federal court in Phoenix to ban the use of the Dominion and electronic voting machines,” she said. “A hundred percent of our vote in Arizona is counted by these machines. We’ve put this sacred vote into the hands of three private companies who won’t tell us how their machines work. They can’t prove that they’re secure.”

They don’t need to debate because george soros already has it in the bag. Just like when joe biden was campaigning and told the audience member “I don’t need your vote”, he knew it was already rigged for him to win it.
