Former President Trump Blasts Biden for Deadly Drone Strike That Allegedly Killed Aid Worker

Former President Donald Trump on Saturday blasted President Joe Biden for a deadly drone strike in Afghanistan that allegedly killed an aid worker.

According to a report from The New York Times, the U.S. military launched an airstrike in Kabul, Afghanistan against a vehicle that allegedly contained an ISIS bomb.

“U.S. military forces conducted a self-defense… airstrike today on a vehicle in Kabul, eliminating an imminent ISIS-K threat to Hamad Karzai International airport. We are confident we successfully hit the target. Significant secondary explosions from the vehicle indicated the presence of a substantial amount of explosive material,” a spokesman for the U.S. Central command said.

However, according to the family of one of the victims, Zemari Ahmadi was not connected to a terrorist group. Instead, he was a longtime worker for a U.S. aid group.

Ahmadi worked for the charity group Nutrition and Education International, which feeds hungry Afghans.

Furthermore, The Times disputed the death count released by the U.S. military.

“While the U.S. military said the drone strike might have killed three civilians, Times reporting shows that it killed 10, including seven children, in a dense residential block,” The Times reported.

Many Republicans, including Trump, have connected the incident to Biden’s chaotic withdrawal of U.S. military forces from Afghanistan.

According to the former commander-in-chief, Biden conducted the strike to show his administration is “tough.”

“They did this strike quickly, in order to show they are tough. Instead, they killed a USAID worker and many children. This is what happens when you have grossly incompetent people at the helm. The Afghanistan tragedy will further mark what should have been an honorable and dignified September 11th. The Administration’s surrender will go down in infamy,” Trump said in a statement.
